I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of workmanship. Exodus 31:3-5
My Name is Mike Pardue, I am a silversmith that specializes in making handmade and hand engraved conchos, buckles and more. I was raised in Midland, Texas and completed the TCU Ranch Management program in Fort Worth, Texas. After completing the program I went to work on a ranch in Midland for a short while. Then went to work at a feed lot in Lubbock. I am now working full time for the City of Midland as a Firefighter/Paramedic.
Curious about silver work and eager to learn, A few years ago I started working with different metals. I attended an engraving school in Alpine, Texas.
This past year has been an exciting time. I have been able to attend an engraving seminar hosted by the Traditional Cowboy Artists in Oklahoma City. It was a great opportunity to learn new engraving skills as well as meet other people in the silver business. I am looking forward to the future to see what doors will be opened.
